New generation, new problems. Wait a few years to see IF they work out all the kinks. Figure the 2005+ Gen 2 had issues and still does. And sadly I am sure these will to. Love my Tacoma but I think more research and development is needed before the trucks/cars are released.

To be fair, how do you know that Toyota hasn't been designing and testing the 2016 design for 3 or 4 years?

Well......that video was about worthless. Quit with the teasing already. Just show the fucking thing. I'm envisioning a highlander fuggly front end and cab mated to bed from the previous gen frontier. Unibody construction and car like suspension that will be nearly impossible to gain much more wheel travel than stock.

Ok. Sorry. I just had to barf out all my pessimism. Much better now

Exactly they just go by the TOYOTA name and just put shit out there. Worry about the rest later. Like I said love my Tacoma I have had a 1998,2001,2005,2010,2015. Sad that in 2015 people are still complaining of issues from the 2005 model year.

If they could do one thing and get it right....
Fix the frames soft, rust, bending.....
    Fix the springs....

Both have been problems for years and reasons I may never get another.

Only people who did their research after they signed their purchase agreement, IMO. I knew full well the leafs would be questionable before I bought, for example, and anybody in the snow belt who didn't know about the frame rust issue before they bought.. well, let's just say they're special.

Meh, I've always had Toyotas and I've been driving since '85 but if I get another Toyota it won't be built in the US, they just can't seem to get them right. Too many simple issues that should have been apparent from the start or Toyota should have owned up to them quickly and fixed them.

I doubt we're looking at the third gen. Two plants running 24/7 and they still can't keep up with sales! Why would they change it? Facelift at best!
