Does a 08 2.7L 4x4 have a rear LSD?

Dad has a 08 4x4 Access Cab sr5 4x4 2.7L. Does it have a rear LSD? Couldn't tell from owners manual

 

fastest way to tell is look at the rear diff., if its LSD there "should" be a sticker that says LSD oil

 

My base model 4x4 doesnt. As far as i know ther arent any LSDs in the 08s , the TRD uses software to limit slip. I'm not 100% sure though

 

I believe all 2009 and up Tacomas have LSD rears including 2wds.

I owned a 2005... open differential with an E-locker... It was a 4WD Off Road.

I believe only the SPORT TRDs had the LSD.

In 2009, instead of the inside clutch LSD, Toyota went to the TRAC system to limit wheel spin using sensors at each powered tire and the brake system to slow spinning tires.
