I've been searching for a long time for a leveling kit for my 2010 5 lug tacoma. I know readylift has the sst lift kit, but i was looking just for a couple inches up front to level it out without having to do the rear also. Has anyone else had better luck finding a leveling kit for our 5 lugs?

There are only two kits for us 5 luggers. One is for long travel and the other is the readylift kit.

Fat Bob's 2.75'' lift, on Cooper ATR 30x9.5x15, AFE Pro Dry S Filter, Secondary air filter removed, no mud flaps, cut exhaust, armor lid tonneau cover.
There is also a Fat Bobs Garage kit which has 2.75" lift front and 1.50" to 1.75" rear just like the ready lift but 100 dollars cheaper it is a alum.
spacer with a AAL and they give you new longer rear shocks the ready lift does not. I'm running it on my truck for now tell i can save for total chaos kit. Look at my gallery for photos, I would lift front and rear IMHO:eek:

yeah pretty much.unless you have enough dough for the TC mid travel kit. there is a member on here who lifted using the readylift front only and it looks pretty good. i forgot what his username is though.

I like it! And it was cheaper then the ready lift with pro comp shocks. For what your getting its good yes later I will up grade to TC Mid travel but ride quaity still the same. Your 235"s (28.88) might look a little small after the Fat Bob's but its your pereference. I went with 30X9.5 you can see them in my gallery pics. I will get 31's later with the Mid Travel and regear. The good part about those 235's mpg will be better then 30x9.5's your choice!:D

Nice truck Niles! I just got these 235s a few days back, so there's no way I'm getting new tires until these are shot :p you're right they will probably look a bit smaller after kit... but it still beats the hell out of the dinky stock tires :D

There are now two options from fat bobs.

#1 is the full suspension lift with shocks ($229.92 to 269.95 with options) - http://store.fatbobsgarage.com/toyota-tacoma-2wd-5-lug-suspension-lift-kit--2005-2009-p7611.aspx

#2 is the front spacers with the ability to add on the components that you want from the full suspension lift (starting at $129.95) - http://store.fatbobsgarage.com/toyota-tacoma-2wd-5-lug-275-front-lift-kit-2005-2010-p7630.aspx

#2 is great if you want to mix and match components from other places. but ends up being more expensive if you use it to buy the full suspension lift this way.

so if you want to just level yours out there is no need to buy a full kit and not install the AAL like a few other 5-luggers have...
