I want a Borla catback on my truck.. Ofcourse, Borla only makes one for a 4.0 Tacoma. Does anyone know the reason why exhausts from a 4.0 doesn't fit a 2.7? I can see the factory exhaust being different due to a different size muffler or something, but what about an aftermarket one??

I thought the magnaflow was a bit too loud and ricey. I have heard Borlas on a Gen 1 2.7, and it has a subtle, not too noticable sound--awesome for a 4 banger! Then again maybe a sound clip isn't doing justice and is mangifying everything i hear..
