I went this direction because I use my truck for daily utility transportation in my work, and it will never see off road use. Those Yokomaha tires are also low rolling resistance high gas mileage tires. They ride as smooth as silk and the truck sticks like crazy glue in the corners. Now that you mention it, it does have somewhat of a NASCAR look. It'll look even more so when I get these retro 1960's gunmetal racing wheels on it.

The set is already on its way and should be here tomorrow.

Toyo Tires

So had LT245/75r16 Toyo tires Open Country A/T II,these were heavy on my 4 Banger. The old 6 ply was a lot of rubber to push.Contacted the dealer an took advantage of the 30 day trial, told the dealer that I wasn't happy and wanted to return them for the "P" rated ones.Just got them on and what a difference, should have done it in the first place. No problems with Saint John Toyota, they never blinked an eye.Toyo was a little slow to come around but in the end all was fine.

Nothing crazy, just drove up to Mulberry Gap in N. Ga to do some mountain biking. The Coopers really suit my needs far better than the stock rubber.

Here's my little Taco. "stock" from when I got it. 27k miles on a 2009. All he had done was tires and rims. He was an older gentleman and put on "Hot Wheels" for the wheels. Could be worse right? Oh and he installed a towing hitch in the back. I enjoy my 2WD Taco. First truck!
