2.7l AFE CAI Install Help

So I got an Stage 2 AFE CAI for Christmas, went to town putting it on shortly after. Install was rather simple, although AFE's instructions were crap.

The only problem is that there is one hose that was previously connected from the bottom of what I believe is the throttle body to the old intake pipe, which was replaced and the new pipe has no port to plug in the vacuum hose.

There is nothing on the instructions that says what to do with the hose, I'm thinking of possibly tapping in to the new pipe with it but I don't want to do that without knowing it will solve the problem.

Any help on this would be spectacular, I'm going to take some pics and post them shortly.

Yes, I connected those hoses but it doesn't mention anything about the 3rd hose... what do you think man, am I not seeing something?

 

I wonder if I got the wrong one... I'm pretty sure I didn't. My truck is a 1999 with a 2.7 liter and that's what it says on the instructions and the pictures all correspond well, I wonder if AFE goofed up? Seems unlikely.

 

I'm not sure what that means, kinda wishing i'd gone with the K & N now

 

Just seems like they'd have something in the instructions about the 3rd port, makes no sense to me.
