cab noise

I drove an 04 4wd reg cab that I'm thinking about buying. Only 46k miles. Real tight, runs great. Seems well cared for. My only concern is the cab noise when going down the road. Seller claims it's tires, but noise goes away when I take foot off gas. Is this cab noise typical?

 

In general, some amount of cab noise is typical.

Can you be more specific about what sort of noise you're getting, and where it seems to be coming from?

 

Drove the Tacoma again. Guess the noise is typical. I'm used to the quiet in my Subaru Outback.

 

If it bothers you, you can always add some sound deadening / dampening material.

 

I'll probably turn the radio up, but tell me more about the sound deadening.
