wondering what kind of mileage you really getting with that nice looking 2.7 dc.i am interested in one but concerned the pre runner 4 cylinder might not get as good as the basic with 15 inch tires and different rearend i am told.just don't like the outside look of the basic in access 4 cylinder.i would probably go access in pre or basic. any info would help me decide

Just curious...to get those good MPG's how fast do you drive on highways and were you the only person in the vehicle?

If all goes well i'll have a silver 2011 2.7l SR5 DC coming first week or two of september. Been a real pain in the ass to find one, dealer is having to requisition it from another dealer over 1000 miles away before it is even delivered.

Nice! I have the exact same truck but with the other wheels. I wanted to put the alloy wheels but didn't want to pay the extra grand just for them. Rims don't bug me too much though. I find it interesting that I get higher MPG on city than the sticker. I get about 23 driving 35-45 tops on street and 80 tops on highway.

Today I just added some billy 5100 and set the front shocks to 1.75 my front end sits 1/4" higher, I wanted to level it out. Looks like I will need to do something with the rear end. I will post some picture. It took 3 1/2 hours.

1.75 front 5100 billy, front end sits 1/4" higher. It looks higher in the picture. My driveway has a angle on it. I will take picture on flat ground.

Hard to tell with the driveway angle, but it def looks slightly higher in the front in the new pic, but could be the diff angle from the previous picture

Rear Leaf spring TSB, Bilstein 5100's all around w/ front set at 1.75", 265/75R/16 Mickey Thompson Baja STZ's, Trailer hitch w/custom wiring, AFE drop in dry filter, Rear Diff breather mod, Debadged truck, customized stock TRD wheel center caps, added factory fog lights, bed mat, door sills, tinted windows
There is actually a TSB for the paint issues with the fender flares. I had the dealer paint mine and they look great. I hated that orange peel look I had going on a brand new truck.

Here she is now. I just got my first oil change at 5k. The idiot service manager at the dealership was telling me it was a 10k.

I just got a used TRD skid plate off craigs list for 60 bucks. Also a bed mat for another 60.
I took of the skid plate to sand it down to the bare aluminum surface. I was thinking of just leaving it bare like that. Any suggestions ?? The previous owner painted it black with some undercarriage spray.
