cruise control

my new taco is fully stock with out cruise! anybody know how much toyota charges to install this? is it even worth it, i am privy to it because i drive from oklahoma to texas every few weekends and its just nice to have.

I recently installed cruise control into my 2006 2.7L manual Tacoma. Took about 2 hours only because couldn't get clutch switch out. Anyway, I did it for $128 which includes all the parts. I included my receipt from when I bought the cruise control parts and it shows where I bought them from. I was happy with the results and love my CC now!!

check out rostra's website. it seems some taco's came in different levels of prewire, depending on what plant they were made in, you may need an additional harness available at rostra as a service part
