economy is absurdly important to me. Not looking to mod 'er unless its something cheap and easy for the interior.

People say: " I could never climb towers"

and i say: "When you wake up and have bills, or a hungry family, you climb the tower"

If I may, what is the starting pay of someone in that field?

 

It varies wildly. the hours can be difficult. A lot of night work. My work now is exclusively on the ground, dealing with the equipment below.

Tower dogs make 10-25/hr depending on the job. (though I didn't) You start out usually on the ground doing conduit work, digging, trenching, etc and can make more on the lousier jobs like climbing and tower painting.

I make about 30/hr and work from home, calling out to address emergencies and doing routine maintenance. When there's an issue, we call the climbers. Cant ask for a better job
