2011 Regular cab 4x4 pricing

Hi, I am looking at buying a 2011 Regular cab 4x4 4cyl 5spd.

Test drove the chevy colorado in the same configuration. The chevy was nice and could feel it had more power. The colorado just looks bland and fit and finish wasn't comparable.
This would be my first truck mainly used for towing a pwc and utility trailer, 4x4 for winter.
Went to the dealer and test drove and priced. His price was
Msrp:$21345
Sale price: $20400
OTD: $21848
I feel they should be able to do better than that another $300-500 off?
What do you guys think is a fair price?

That's an excellent price, that same truck would be 23k here

 

thats pretty decent compared to current prices on those. i noticed the prices on these have gone up since i bought my 2010. I payed about 19K otd

 

I know when I was pricing them out I would have been able to get it for $20-21k OTD.

 

Check out Edmunds.com. That really helped me when I bought my 2010 regular cab. I ended up getting mine for $18,400.

 

yeah, check out the invoice and comparables on edmunds, overstock, kbb, etc... they'll have more data than this bbs for current pricing.

Good luck with your purchase. The one thing I liked better on the colorado was that cool tailgate-locking-partial-open so you can slide a 4x8 across the fenderwells and tailgate in the bed. But really, I very seldom carry 4x8s.
