Ok, so a little background: yesterday I cleaned my engine with a degreaser designed for engines and then ran the engine and drove around and all was well.
Today when I started it up it acted normal, but when I put it into reverse the whole engine was shaking vigorously and It also does it with any gear other than Neutral or park. When it's in neutral or park it idles normally. After turning it on and off a few times it went away, but when I started it a few hours later the same thing happened. What can this be?

I have no idea, but I would suggest unplugging the battery for about 15 min to allow the ECU to reset. Maybe that will help. Good luck with it.

I'll try the battery idea... Maybe someone else has an idea?

Yea would be good to know if it has coils. I'd check and make sure there is no moisture in any of the spark plug tubes or around the wires or coils, whichever you have. That is the problem with washing engines, the water can have an adverse affect on electrical stuff.

So this morning when I started it up I let it sit and it was vibrating in park and drive. I decided to go for it anyway and when I was going down the road I had a check engine light come on and shortly after that I lost power and the truck would not accelerate, only shake more and make more noise when I tried. any ideas?

Run the engine in the dark, spray a mist of water over the plug wires and coil packs, look for arcs. No arcs=good wires.
Pull your electrical connectors out, check for moisture, and put dielectric grease in them, plug wires included.

Pulled all the wires connected to the plugs out and there was water in all of the spark plug cylinders. I got the water out with a compressor, then put everything back together and went for a drive. Now the truck idles fine, but when I try to accelerate it still vibrates and has very minimal power. Also the exhaust was smoking slightly and it smelt like exploded fireworks...Any more idea?? I'm thinking I might just have to take it into a shop.

Did you check for arcs in the dark yet?
