Question 4 cyl. 5 lug traction assist

Does anybody know of any aftermarket traction assist devices for 2w/d 5 luggers? I can't seem to locate anything. Seems the truck that needs it most doesn't have any help available. Toyota appears to have outsmarted those silly American makers by not offering frivolous things like 2 rear wheels that actually power the vehicle continuosly at the same time. "Wrong wheel drive" is not a good idea in mud and snow.
