Intake filter

Alright guys,
I have heard that aef dry drop in filter will wake your truck up. Who has done it, and has noticed a difference??

i dont think there is any extra power or increased gas mileage, Chris4x4 stated somehwere that even with NO FILTER there was only 1.5hp increase on the dyno, so any performance filter will still not flow more than NO FILTER. getting an aftermarket filter is more for its long lifespan and being able to clean it

if you want some extra pep from an air filter i think you need the full URD CAI kit

 

I've got an AFE dry filter. I didn't noticed any difference: power or mileage. I do like that I haven't bought another one since, though.
