    Hello all,

I'm a newbie to Toyotas. My truck has a 2.4 L with automatic. 54K miles. 2WD. The motor seems to vibrate at idle, shakes the steering wheel slightly, also seems to idle too fast. Accelerates OK from a stop. It actually seems to run pretty smooth; the idle vibration is driving me NUTS. Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

When sitting at a light, if you take it out of gear does the vibration stop ?

The vibration happens in drive or neutral. It's like the engine is idling a little fast. Nothing I can put my finger on, just not a "smooth" running motor. The truck seems to run fine, starts every time, no other issues. I've never had a Tacoma before, but don't think this is normal? Thanks for the help.
