Call your insurance company and ask. Mine didn't care at all. They basically said I could do what I want to my truck. I think I asked my previous insurance company too. I remember them saying they might put a note in my file or something. Check your it out on your own.

Think about people with disabilities. They can get knobs on the steering wheel, pedal extenders, booster seats, seat-belt extenders... If someone can ride a motorcycle/bicycle without a helmet or any PPE on the same roads as my truck, I don't really worry about the side airbags.

I guess I have another 300+ permanently atop the bed too with the shell.

And placing anything on top of a sleeping platform that already slightly bounces is bad news.

So I think I've bought everything to complete my lift. Thought I'd just run this by everyone for their thoughts on the set up. I am not easily offended so if something looks out of place or sounds dumb please let me know!

    1. OME 884 springs
    2. 4 Bilstein 5100 shocks (front+rear)
    3. New KYB shock top hats/mounts
    3. Toytec 1.5" AAL
    4. 1 Toytec 1/4" Front Top Plate Spacer (for driver's side tacoma lean?)
    5. All Pro Off Road U-Bolt Flip Kit with Timbren Bumpstops

Does this sound like a good setup? My goal is to have a level, mild lift. Thanks for any advice!

I vote factory fog light kit, :D

I am amazed at the light output of the 55W H11 fog lights on these trucks, they really should have come with fog lights form the factory on all models.

I did that for about 3-4 days, then wired them in,

They do an awesome job of bringing a lot of light right up to, and assisting the headlights,

I found the South East Toyota part number for my fog light kit and ordered it through my dealer as they gave me a discount since I purchased my truck through them.

Hey guys, just picked up my 06 4x4 5 speed a couple weeks ago and am loving it. Bought it with 55,777 miles on it and a lift kit. The lift is eibach front springs, add-a-leaf, and 5100's all around. Things I have done so far are install my stereo stuff and put a tool box on it. I also got some paint from work to color match stuff on the truck. Here are some pics

wfochris, for the windows? It's just the legal limit in FL all around. I then have a glare strip at the top of the winshield too that the guy made the height according to how I sit in the truck.
