4.88's are nice and the 35's that come with them. I saw total chaos' s v6 in their sc and ive wanted one ever since. Very nice setup. I also ddrove the frontier and that engine is even more of a beast. Placing that in my truck with some 488 or even 456 would be amazing  :bananadead: :crapstorm:

I was going to ask about the YWM, lol...

Seems to be a decent mod while you save for lockers.

I have the 3 leaf progressive 1.5" from wheelers on my rc. I went with that over the single add a leaf because people said it rode better. I like it, installation was pretty easy with no experience and just looking at some pics on here. Adding bilstein 5100s in the back made it a lot nicer though.

Dunno what you're doing in the front but 2.5" 5100s and the wheelers 3leaf in the rear (with overload spring plate thing left in) will make you level. It's pretty easy to get ass sag though if you regularly haul anything in the back or have a camper shell. Unloaded, with shell, roof rack, and tire on roof rack, I'm just a hair below level. Since the bed is seldom empty though I have frequent saggy swamp ass

Brandon, I really appreciate your response. Thanks man. Also, congrats on the 4Runner.

I currently have the 5100's @ 1.75. Right now, the truck sits dead level. However, like you mentioned .... I am planning on adding a camper, which will bring down the rear with additional gear and all.

Do you know how high the rear may be with 1.75 up front, 1.5 3 leaf progressive (or 1.5 AAL) in the rear and no camper or additonal gear?

I'd assume you'd have the slightest bit of rake with that setup, not enough to deter from the look of a level/near level vehicle... maybe even preferable. I'd say it's a good plan for now, and when you add extra stuff on the back. I would have set my fronts at 1.75" if I had thought it through a little more... and if I had to do it all over again the rear would be identical.

Again ... Thanks, Brandon. Really good information to know.

I was not sure how much actual lift it would give me if I was not carrying gear or a shell.

Edit: Am I able to use the factory U bolts if I go with the 1.5 AAL or 3 leaf pack? Thank you.

Man, that looks good!! From that first photo, it looks like you have plenty of lift in the rear.

Thanks mang. The ground was pretty flat- and have roughly 150 lbs on floor of bed + shell+rack+tire. I'll try to snap some photos soon where the rear looks saggy, everything else equal. Maybe I'm going insane.

Sounds good! I feel your pain ... One day I like it, one day it looks off. I think it is a never ending cycle!

Sry missed this. No, you won't. I can't remember if they were free or if you add them to your order at wheelers - if it doesn't mention on the site that you should buy one, it's included. They forgot mine either way and shipped it out pretty quickly after I informed them. Definitely required.

    Thanks, Brandon. I appreciate that.

I'll have to make sure I take a look before I order.

the sliders were designed to follow the body lines on the top side, they are up about half and inch from the frame height, are welded to the frame, have been tested in a couple situations (including being hit by a moron in a focus on the passenger side) to work well so far, the front of the tube is out 2 inches while the back is at 3 inches giving a little bit of a kickout but i wish i had gone with 4 inches for the rear to give a bit more. as a bit of a joke i went with red grip tape for stepping in and actually like it so it stayed.

ya it looks as though you should have had enough clearance, bouncing around a few rocks can certainly shake things up. my passenger side slider made contact with the lip under the body enough to crack the paint down there.
