Front just Bilstein 5100 adjustables on stock coils @ 2.5". It's not bad, better at 1.75" perch for comfort. Alignment came out fine, didn't get new upper control arms or anything.

Rear I have Wheeler's 3 leaf progressive, stock overload spring left in, ran them with Bilstein 5100s as well but just stole those for my 3rd gen 4runner. Honestly can't tell the difference with the stock shocks back in. I could have sworn it was a world of difference when I first installed the rear 5100s... Beats me. Dunno if you're handy or anything but definitely do all of this yourself, I swapped in the factory shocks in about 20 minutes with two wrenches. During a snow shower. 30* outside. No biggy. Leaf install is easy too if you can grip the factory centering pin on the pack and have a hack saw with new blade to trim down the new pin. Dull blade and nothing good to grip added 30 mins for me.

So I guess what I have left is front adjustable 5100s and leaf pack, about 10k miles. Here's what the rears went to

30,000 is commonly recommended, 60,000 really is okay.
Manual says to "inspect" every 30k, replace every 30k for "special operating conditions"

Ok, any idea on the cost? Should I go back with toyota fluid or something else like mobil1?

Toyota fluid.
Type T-IV for the 2.7, WS for the 4.0

DIY... just a pan drain and refill is all you need to do if you do it regularly.

Do the autos have a plug or do you have to pull the pan to drain it

quick question for you RC guys. I just came back from the dealership, they sold the truck i was suppose to get which was a 5 speed, they do have the auto which i prefer due to some right arm and shoulder issues. I was wondering if the auto transmission is reliable and can it handle 265/70/16s with out regearing. I didnt want a payment but I need a vehicle and I am trying to find something that fits my lifestyle, wife wants me to get a prius but thats not happening. I hunt and fish, usually alone, maybe one friend. Any help would be great, Thanks

Thanks, now the long hassle and battle with the dealership to get the payment i want. My wife is dead set against the RC but after I had her do the payment calculator on the 2013 F-150 she wanted me to get I think the RC started looking real good. She even started making up things like, you always travel alone anyways, or we can get a cap to cover groceries, lol. I find it amusing that she picked the color black, no black within 140 miles, show up today and the red was gone with a black in its place with 140 miles on it, I guess it was meant to be.( I HOPE )

Kinda lazy to try to search this but are 2012 headlights the same as 2014? Maybe its the color but they look different in the pics, then again my eyes are bleeding from reading about 180 pages of the reg cab post.

There isn't a stock Tacoma that comes standard with projectors. 2012-2014 headlights are also the same headlights.

These are retrofitted stock headlights that are on my 05 Tacoma Reg Cab and is the only way to have proper projector type headlights. You can get others on eBay but I would not recommend them.
