I like it how it sits. It looks great 5100s are going to be my route so yours is a good reference. Hopefully I can get those OR rims.

A couple of shots. Had it about a year now. Done a handful of mods. Keep thinking about a lift. I'm liking the looks of the regular cab with a lift. When does this need to modify end? lol image.jpg image.jpg

how hard is it to put the fender flares back one if you decided to take them off? also anyone interested in maybe trading my 285 75 16 km2s for either a 235 or 255 85 16 or 265 75 16 tire?

As easy as paying a few $$$ on ebay to order new clips and put them back on.

Do you need new clips when re installing or can you reuse the old ones? Im guessing some would break on the removal.

I guess I get to update this post with more pics - since I had to fix a loose shifter today. I used blue Loctite when I assembled it, but discovered that I made a simple bonehead move and installed the Hurst lever opposite the serrations somehow. Dumb move and I'm sure that was the reason it loosened up. It went back together with red loctite this time just to be sure.

So the above pic is the stock assembly with the boots removed and the body opened up a bit to access the stock mount bolts. This next pic is with the unit installed. Sorry, I didn't take it all apart for you guys... Note that the base is steel and not as thick as the stock aluminum part, the installation instructions are clear in that you MUST use the supplied (shorter) bolts. You can just see the serrations I mentioned, the CORE part has matching serrations for a good solid grip - this time.

This is the stock boot, modified in the alternate way so that it fits snugly over the CORE assembly.

Here is the boot installed, note the grommet CORE supplies to make it fit the Hurst lever.

Hey guys. Question ever since I installed my lift I can hear my drive shaft rattle when I lift off the gas and then rattles until it gets load back on it from throttle input.

Would the flip the drive line mod fix this or just hide it?

From what I read, it will come back if you just flip it. I have the same noise, and I grease the crap out of the slip joint, and it helps a little.

Hello, it has been awhile since I have been on here ... I am planning on putting an AAL kit on my 2013 RC. Before I start the process I wanted to ask for any tips/tricks from those of you that have installed and AAL. Any information is greatly appreciated.

First ones are always gonna be the worst. Theres always gonna be slight shavings and stuff in it. After all, the engine "break in" period is exactly that.
