Hey guys, been on here a while but not in this thread. I'm looking for a little help. I just did the urd fuel pump up grade, thoroughly cleaned the maf, cleaned the throttle body and still have the same issue. I can't maintain 70mph decently, have no throttle response when over 65mph and can't make a hill to save my life with out being at 45mph in 4th gear. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm heavily modified but I'm running 4.88 r/p with 33 inch wheels, I should be smoking tires and have lots of power but it's struggling bad. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

@Mothman, not to scare you, but if you have time take off your intake hose that connects to the throttle body. Make sure it isn't dirty.

We looked at my intake and its caked with dirt. This pretty much means it was bypassing the stock air filters too.

Not sure what your problem is. 4.88's with 33's should be able to pull you through most things. What elevation are you at? I guess you could do a compression test on your engine and make sure everything is running top notch on the inside?

Agreed, I've kinda narrowed it to with o2 sensors or bad cats. Dropping the pipe from the header to see if it's better or worse

Don't drop the pipe from the header. It will run like complete dog shit. Trust me lol. I clogged my cats and muffler after sitting in a mud hole for 6 hours and the truck would barely run 60 in 3rd gear to the floor lol it was horrible.

Took the downpipe off and was loud as fuck. But the truck would barely move. Our engines need the back pressure.

I took it to a local muffler shop where they drilled a small hole in the cats to check them and turns out they were stuffed full of mud.

More than likely sounds like your cats are bad and a muffler shop can check them for like $30 and then your truck is already there if you need to fix em.

    Just my .02!

Interesting, so with them clogged up it had massive power loss? We're your Rpms up high at 60?

Did your truck fall under the cat recall from a few months ago?
