    Love the Ivan Stewarts!

Would like to get a set like that in black with a polished rim for my 5-lug.

How do I know if my 2010 2.7 single is prewired for cruise control?

Hmmm, good question. If it was manual I would say look up above the clutch pedal for the clutch switch connector. Not sure if that would still be on the harness in automatics or not but it could be there I suppose. Look for white unused connector up above where the clutch pedal would be in upper left top corner behind dash by edge of the firewall insulation stuff.

Clutch switch sensor is there for the starter interlock.
The cruise control clutch sensor is not installed on any truck that does not have cruise... it is one of the additional steps if you have a manual.

Supposedly, the California trucks will be ready to roll, the Mexican trucks may not be. But... we are always hearing about "painless" installation, so it may have simply been a transition thing in late 2008/early 2009.

The trucks that are not wired are missing, IIRC, a blue wire that runs from the connector at the base of the steering column over to the ECU. It is not impossible to add to a truck that is not wired, but I did not need to do it so I'm not going to pretend that it's a 2-beer job.

Most likely, based on reports of success, you are good to go simply adding the stalk on an auto trans, or the stalk and clutch switch on a manual.
Easy to find out... plug it in and turn it on. If "Cruise" illuminates on the cluster, it's ready to roll.

Yeah I was thinking more like $10,000 at the most. Tacomas are not cheap up here in the PNW.

Should have never gotten rid of my DC :/

I know the sensor itself is not gonna be there if you don't have cruise control. That's not what I said. What I said was look to see if the CONNECTOR for the sensor is up there. Then the person asking if it was wired for it would know it was wired for it if the white connector was up there.

I think I paid roughly 13,000 after taxes and it only had about 30,000 miles on it.

Anybody interested in the overhead console mounting bracket to try for an overhead console install in a reg cab? I lamed out on that project once I found a rr view mirror that was auto-dimming/compass/temp/homelink/maplight with amber display. I wanted to do console mostly just to have place for my garage door opener & map lights. The mirror solved that, added some extras & got me out of cutting on the headliner. Bracket can be had for shipping cost................

It would have to be jbwelded to roof then hole cut in headliner for console. Somebody do it, I still wanna see ovh console in reg cab.

After some jerkhole backed inton my new truck and I had to take it to the body shop. I bought nerf bars for my regular cab. Easy to install only took an hour in the rain.

    +1

Last December (2011) I bought an '08 RC 5-lug with 53k on it for $13.5k
This truck is 2 years older (3 years older than mine when I bought it) and twice the mileage.

That one is a 4x4... but it's still a manual, mine is an auto.
And the fog lights were installed by one of the previous owners, yet no switch for it on the dash... probably hardwired.

And it looks like there's an issue with the trim around the shifter:

They are black. What you see is reflection from the rain.
