HELP. Spacer lowered my truck

    Put a spacer on my right rear and it lowered my truck how do I fail this bad

    Yeah it's 5 lug base model I think I figure it out, my lead springs are under my axel and not on top! It's a blog on the suspension

    That's what I was thinking. If you want to lift it, you need to either put the axle under the leafs or get shackels (not sure if they have those on the 5 lugs) or get lift springs.

    i think they do have longer shackles but im pretty sure they are for lowering lol

    Well fellas I ended up putting shackles on the rear part of the leaf springs and ended up with about 4 inches of lift without effecting the front angle of my axel so I won't tare up u-joints, just gota clean it up a lil, cut of the unessasairy parts of the shackles I chop the exhaust after the hanger cause it was in the way of the leaf spring which them lower, definantly some redneck enjinuity lol rides stuff as a bored! Now suggestions on simple ways to bring the front end up bout 5 inches with out spending damn near 600$

    There universal shackles can go about 8 incheses

    this the only one i got right now, but u can see i just droppes the rear end completely and the bolted it to the schackles not hard only took bout an hour and shackles $20 for total[​IMG]

    your shocks look like they dont have any extension left...:facepalm:

    did you replace them with shocks for lifted trucks or leave them stock?

    yeah i used the stock ones they have about half an inch left in them, thats why i got this post i need to find some longer ones, and figure out a good way to lift the front cheep

    you should never go the cheap way, its cheap now, but expensive in the long run, the other guys might have better advise, i would have waited till it can be done right. GL

    also you're pretty much out of luck on the front end as far as lifting it 5"
