Air Conditioner Compressor Pully Squealling

Ok you guys help me out earlier, thanks so much.

My son has a 99 Tacoma Truck. The pully on the air conditioner compressor is squealling. Can the pully be replaced without replacing the entire compressor.

Thanks everyone!!!

Welcome to TW!

Are you sure it is the pulley & not the belt?

What about getting one from the junkyard. It would be cheap there.

Excellent idea. I guess the root of my question, does the pulley come off. I am assuming yes? But I hate to assume.

Thanks guys

I had this problem on my 2000. I gave it a shot of WD40 and it went away. I figured I would try it to see if it worked before I had to spend the money to fix it. You may want to give it a shot.
