Noise while accelerating.

I recently broke the throttle body by accident so I replaced it with a big bore one for LC Engineering. Now there seems to be almost a puffing kinda noise if I put too much gas in it as i accelerate. The more you throttle while accelerating the louder the noise gets but it is not there during idle or coasting or even if I rev it up in neutral. I took it to get checked out with a mechanic and he said that it idles at spec and that he couldnt see anything wrong with it and that he thinks its just caused from the new throttle body. I called LC and they said that the throttle body shouldnt cause any new noises or any problems. So im pretty stumped on this one can someone please help me out.

Do you have an intake? Maybe its just a resonating sound of the air...

Yes I do have an intake but its not that sound. The weird thing is sometimes its louder than others and it doesn't make the noise when i rev it up in neutral.
