how to get to the fuel filter on an 01 2.4L

    I have an 01 2wd with the 2.4 and dunno how I'm suposed to get to the fuel filter. Looks ceasy but when I started after it I figured out its not that easy. Any tips?

    why the heck is the dealer sayin it doesnt need to be changed. assuming its never been changed the truck is showing 170,000 so uhhh yea i think it needs to be changed. especially with the crap gas we have now

    ehhh, i got it done, a not stubby but not long 12mm for the top bracket bolt, a regular length 12mm for the bottom bracket bolt and used a reg length 17mm line wrench for the banjo bolts. its not the easiest thing ive done but after figureing out where to noodle my arm in it wasnt that bad. looks like taking the powersteering pump off would have helped alot but oh well. and i noticed a BIG difference after changing the fuel filter...aparently all the black and brown crap that came out of the old one was restricting alittle flow
