Iam about about to replace the engine in my 1991 4x4 and have been looking for a long block and oreillys auto seem to have the best price and a 3 year unlimited mile warranty here it is - http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...=Search_02239_1277883_1423&pt=02239&ppt=C0332 -

does anyone have experience with these engines? I dont want to get a lemon. I have thought about about ordering from from online vendor but this route seems the simplest with out having to worry about remailing a core and what not

Also what do you guys think of a high performance 22re? I have any had a few people tell me its a waste of time and money. I have looked at a few sites that have them lce sunwest and 22re performance. Man reason for wanting one is better freeway speed not racing what do you recommend?

Compare "Jasper" engines as well. They will build most any upgrades you might want.

Only if you want to replace the engine 6 months after it's warranty is up.
