97 Tacoma 2.4l code P0171 help

    in my previous post i asked about the bogging out and temp gauge problem. i fixed these problems. i fixed the bogging out by cleaning my maf with crc maf cleaner.the temp gauge problem was the previous owner had cut off the thermostat so i replaced it and the temp gauge was reading normal with no more idle problems.now i am getting the p0171 code (adaptive fuel system lean) i cant figure it out can someone help maybe someone else has had this problem?
