The header fits like absolute crap. I know it's aftermarket and all, but it's not even CLOSE to being "subpar".

The header doesn't fit flush with the motor. The EGR tube connection is off. The flange from the down tube to the cat is nearly 2" off.

Has anyone had similar experiences and have any pointers? Or did maybe I just get a header from an extremely bad batch?

    This is the biggest issue:

Just tried it on this morning. I'll have to wait until Monday to talk to someone at DT.

You're a TN fan living in GA? SHAME ON YOU!

    Hopefully yours will be good.

Sent them an email this morning. Hopefully I'll hear back from them sometime Monday morning. If not, I'll call them in the afternoon.

I purchased a set of these , the headers fit the engine like a glove the problem was the connector tube from the headers to the cat didnt fit , I found the outlet to the cat was a smaller diameter , The sheet that came with the headers stated that they fit 2.4 tacomas , and didnt even list a 2.7 I called DT and was told that they were the same for both engines , so I asked why the connector tube was the wrong diameter , they told me that the 2.7 was a larger diameter tube, I asked why they didnt ask that when I ordered them , they had no answer. Any one purchasing these should make sure they tell them specifically which engine , and that it is the large diameter outlet if you have a 2.7. hope this helps someone from going through what I did.

    From URDs website:

"Note#2: The 1995-1999.5 have different flanges where the flange bolts to cat. There are two different flange types. Most flanges are 3.5" centerline bolt to bolt. The other flanges have 4.25" bolt spacing are designated 506-1. Please measure before ordering."

    I purchased the correct one.
