Power programmer for the 2.7

I've done a little research on these and according to most companies that make them they will give you up to 25 more hp and 2-4 mpg better. I am not looking to make my truck into a hot rod, I just want some more get up and go power for passing. Where I live it is all 2 lane highways, so this is pretty essential! I would like to know if anyone has done this to their 2.7 and if it is worth buying, also did you install it yourself or have it dealer installed? The way I understood it was that they just plug right in.

 

I am also curious on this as well? I would also like to find some sort of options that would give my truck some more get up, and go, and maybe produce a little bit more HP too, but with out using to much gas. I would think you would be able to get some kind of happy medium between the two.. Sub for this one, keep us posted on what you find on the power progammer.
