Im new to forum threads,. I have a 98 Taco 4X4 that has the AC rigged. I just bought the truck, It has cold A/C but you have to turn on a toggle switch to make it work. The last owner ran a hot wire to the toggle switch located in the cab, then to a wire from the switch to the compressor. It works well and blows cold, but I believe its freezing up. My budduy thinks the guy bypassed the AC pressure switch, allowing it to run all the time when the switch is on. The thing is, is that we cannot find the pressure switch to try to varify this. Does anyone know where it may be, or are we even correct? Please help. Thanks, livwyr
