does anyone feel like they sit very low in the single cab bench seat?

my truck is taller than me and im 6ft and its taller than most trucks i guess but when im in it i have to look up to see other trucks even when mines taller, i think its how low the bench seat is to the actual truck, anyone else notice this, or is it just me?

I think a 5 gallon bucket would be more comfortable.

This is the 5th Toyota pickup for me so I have a hard time on the pail, plus you don't lean as much in the turns. Also have a Chevy Tahoe and an Accord w/power seats, 1st thing I do is lower it all the way and it ain't low enough.

If you think about the cab design, even if they raised it an inch the headroom compramise would be a huge disadvantage for some. I suppose the seat height has much to do w/the length of the driver.

I'm 6'3", but I do slouch a bit.
I see people complaining about the mirror position and the headroom....

Agree totally, don't like the mirror position or the field of view from the windshield and not thrilled with the headroom. Although if they raise the headroom it would make the cab unpropotionate. Who knows, maybe they could design it w/better headroom.

I'm 6'2" and I've never felt like the seat was too low. The interior of this truck actually fits me really well, I keep the seat 1 click away from the back of the cab, and I've added a little center console as an armrest.

its a real truck thats what you want low center of gravity and highest possible ground clearance

thats true, i have a lot more ground clearance than any other of my buddies big diesels or 6" lifted trucks, it really helps in the woods.

I'm 6'2" also and find the seat too high. The rearview mirror blocks a portion of my forward view, I have to duck below to see around it.
