BEAT FROM DAY ONE! ADAPTIVE STRATEGY WORKS.
I drive on one of the fastest race tracks in Indiana everyday. The route is I-94 to the I-80 toll road, exiting on Cline ave. MY 2011 Tacoma reg cab 4wd 4cyl auto will hang with any truck up to around 70, and actually kill 4wd 5.3 chevy's and 5.4 fords ,out of a toll booth and around sharp curves. These guys hate it because you can tell it is a base model by looking at it. Steel rims, no painted flares, no frills. My truck will pull well over 110 mph. My secret is??? Drive it like you mean it from day 1. I Read alot of posts of lacking power, and I had to add this. TOYOTA RULES!!!

Welcome, but talk of such actions is kind of a no-no 'round these parts.

Put the word "hypothetically" in front of some of those types of comments, and you'd be golden...hypothetically.

Come drive it. This is not bs. Maybe drag racing experience helps, but in the real world this actually happens everyday. I will have to break out the GOPRO. I said up to 70 after that they pull hard. But where I drive there are curves. Maybe you are not pushing it hard enough, Just sayin! By the way I also own a 2007 F-150 cc 4wd and I raced my wife from a dead stop,,,, and beat her (she has no experience) to 60 cause that was the speed limit.
