Hi. I just got my first tacoma last month and couldn't be happier. I have been reading a lot of threads this past month and have learned a lot. There is a ton of information on this site it's pretty amazing. I was reading something somewhere one of the many sleepless nights prowling this site and read that the 4 cylinder 4x4 has a 5 lug. Mine has 6. Is that new for 2012? Thanks I tried searching for it but it didn't really get me any answers. Thanks.

Engine has nothing to do with whether it is a 5-lug or 6-lug. All configurations on the 4wd "platform" (including 2wd prerunner, which lack a few very expensive parts) are 6-lug. All others are 5-lug.
