erbody loves my tacoma here in utah :) some prefer huge trucks, but hey ignore them, you wanna make them feel bad >=D invite them on a offroad trail run and see what they say, go on something wild where jeeps go and tacomas go, rock crawling :) they wont stand a chance with there chevs and fords.

P.S i hope that brokentusk was joking on his comment of switching to scion.... Toyota owns Scion, and apparently Subaru and Toyota got together in the making with the scion FRS and the subaru BRZ, witch is the remake of the AE86

I've had a couple of retired GM employees groan at my choice of truck. I hit them, smiling, with the facts: Great resale value, great reputation for quality and dependability, ect. Both grudgingly agreed.

Ignorance because of the Japaneese name. My 2012 Tacoma was made in the USA (Texas) according to data plate. Some parts made abroad, but same with the big 3. I bought my Tacoma in America, from an American, who lives in America, and it's serviced in America probably by an American who pays taxes which means the funds are staying in America that generates the enconomy. I hold no ownership in the company (Toyota), but I do GM & Chrysler against my better judgement.

Trust me I'm cheap. If I could of a bought a better mid size 4x4 with 4cycl engine and all the gadgets thats as dependable as you can get, I'd had bought it! Oh and by the way, my Honda Accord was made in America also (Ohio). Same rant if you please. I have a lot of complaints about domestic vehicles and the way the dealerships have treated me in the past. There suceess is due to my hard earned tax payer money that was given to them via a corrupt higher up government official.

I've had a couple friends like that, and now one is a Toyota admirer after I let him drive my truck. It is just pure ignorance, like I said, most of the haters have never had actual, long term experience with one. Same goes for most Toyota guys hating Ford, Chevy, and Dodge. I've had experience with all kinds of makes and models, and not one vehicle made is perfect or flawless. The old saying goes "If it has tits or tires, it will cause you trouble at some point." Cars wear out with time and mileage, stuff starts to break, there is no way around it.

funny thing is my buddy bought an IS250 from a chevy dealer last night. talking to the salesman and he said the majority of the vehicles they sell are import dealer trades due to the fact that who the hell would buy a chevy these days. shitty build quality and resale value. all the domestic trucks seem to be wayyyy overpriced for what you get.

would never buy a ford. For Our Retarded Daughter.

Yea, I get that attitude too, from time to time. I just chuckle at them, which seems to piss them off even more, causing my chuckle to develop into a full on ROFL.

My Taco and bike (Honda Sabre 1100cc v-twin) were both built here in 'Merica. The ingorant people who talk shit don't realize their Dodges and Harleys were not built in 'Merica, not to mention most of the crap they buy (clothes, electronics, etc).

Oh, and F.O.R.D. = Fucker Only Runs Downhill

Personally, I think Toyota fanboys are right up there with Twilight fangirls. In turn, their ignorant attitude makes us all look like tools. At least they aren't as bad as Jeep fanboys yet, but they are getting there.

If i recall correctly, Toyota employees more American workers than Ford and Chevy. Most of your Tacoma was made right here in the good ol' U.S. of A.

I can tell you from real 10 years working for a Honda/Acura dealer,

The Acursa we saw that were made in Japan just had fewer problems than the models made in America,

I hate that it's true but it is,

I live in WNC and there are many a Toyota here, lots of em beat up and still running and getting people around, lots of EC and DB in this area,

Honestly I think people in this area appreciate the regular cab,

Just seems to me I like the bench seat, reminds me of all the times me and pop went fishing and hunting in NE,
