Ok so I am about to pull the trigger on the 5100's and the toyotec AAL in the rear to get a little bit better stance on the truck but I can't spend the money on the tires I want yet (265/75/r16) so I was hoping to get opinions and or pictures of anyone who has this setup or similar. I need to decide if it will look ridiculous with a slightly higher stance with stock wheels and tires. btw planning on setting the 5100's at 1.75

I was concerned about the same thing...that's why I decided to get the tires first...but in all honestly, it'll probably look fine. Wish I had some pics to help you decide but I'm worthless. The tires will probably look a little small with the lift but JUST DO IT!!! You'll get tires eventually. :)

Thanks! :D Correct, I haven't done the lift yet. I'm waiting to hear back from a friend about a deal on some Goodyear Duratracs and hopefully will have those put on this weekend or next. I'll post pics on my build thread when I do.

I have heard a few people say to go with the wheelers instead of the toyotec. Any input on this>?

Nice choice! That was my original setup! Not sure if you have the rear spring tsb but I installed my 5100's then had the dealer do the rear spring tsb. Your get a free alignment out of it.

they are 3-leaf packs, and are progressive. they dont ride nearly as harsh as the single toy tec leaf.

When i called my dealership they said there was no tsb for the 2012's. If that was your original setup may i ask why you changed it? not happy with it?

I've heard that the newer taco's come with the upgraded packs. I guess you already have them? I was very pleased with the setup, ride and handling was much improved over stock. I haven't changed anything really just added to as funds allowed. My current setup is 5100's at 0", Eibach coils,Toytec .5" spacers and Toytec 1" blocks in the rear (will be replacing with a progressive aal when funds allow).

    How it currently sits w/275/70/17

Didn't notice any real change in mpg with the 5100's at 1.75 and stock tires. I did however see a drop when I added the 275/70/17's(32.4")
