Thanks. Those are the wheels that came from the factory when I ordered it. I had to special order it since the dealership did not carry any 4 banger Pre-Runners. Took about three weeks to get it. I expected a different style of wheel but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the truck. The only thing I did was add the running boards because my wife and daughter had a hard time getting in the truck without one. Matter of fact, today, 2/10/13, is exactly one year since we bought it.

I purchased my trk Sep 2012 and found if I drove super slow I could get 23/24 mpg. But in the city with freeway traffic requiring more acceleration I got 19/20 mpg.

I have 7K miles on it and my avg is approx 20 mpg. Freeway travel long distance(not city freeway where idiots run you off the road for doing only 10 mph over the limit) I get 22/23 mpg.

The performance on the new engine was lame to start with but is improving as I have more miles on it. I think the computer on the engine limits performance until a decent breakin mileage has occurred.

My last vehicle was a chevy 1/2 ton V6 5 sp and the gas economy was the same but with more pep. Had I known then what I know now I would have bought another chevy p/up. I bought the taco for economy but it's not much better than a full size p/up.

I hope reliability is good so I did not waste my $$$ on the taco.

    Regards, Ron

I am just over 8 k on the truck

My truck looks the same except that I still have the stock tires/wheels, 215/70-15. I want to replace them with something a little bigger. What size do you have? Did it require any mods?

    Thanks

Nope that's all stock tires, I just paint the rims with plastic dip hehe, If I don't like I can always take out the paint is a plastic paint, painted that november until now paint still stick lol. Next month planning on changing the tires and rims and lift the truck for 2 inch.

    ;)

Rac, you should note your truck is the 5 lug and gatnilab is the 6 lug (prerunner). His stock tire size 245/75r16 and is geared for the larger tire.
