Ok, so I want to put a new muffler on my 2001 Taco 2.4... I was thinking of going with the Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Force. I want something that sounds throaty and aggressive. I was also wondering about the exit pipe coming from the muffler. Should I shorten the exit pipe? put a certain tip on it? Anyone have any suggestions??

I have tried several different mufflers on the 2.4 they were 87's to 95's and thought just a 30 inch glass pack from walker sounded the best. It gave the throaty sound at idle but still sounded like those cat back systems at high rpm's. Don't think it will make much difference what you put on it, it is still gonna sound like a mad bee when you get on it. Just say'in you can get a good glass pack cheaper than a flow master and accomplish the same thing.
