Cylinder #1 misfire

This may be a dumb question but which one is the #1 cylinder on an 01 4cyl, closer to the front of the car or towards the driver

So I replaced the spark plugs about 2 months before this misfire problem began, I looked at the plug it seems fine and I replaced the coil. Still have the misfire, I want to replace the wires but I'm not sure how to go about it, is it just a harness on each end or is it a pain in the ass to do. Any suggestions

Mine did that years ago, it was a pinhole in the plug-wire allowing the voltage to bleed off.

Try using ETHONOL FREE GAS - had the same problem,,,,,,,,,seems the ethoh in the gas draws water into your engine. Put ethonol free gas in my truck and now it dose not spit or sputter like before............ I was surprised.......... go on puregas.org to find closest place that sells this gas.
