If you dont have a factory locker, then I think it should just be the standard Toyota 8.4"

    Is there any identification anywhere?

I want to upgrade to a limited slip eventually (TruTrac) but the site just lists sizes, not "for your Tacoma PreRunner 4cyl by ...." type info.

You should have a gear code on the door jamb. Its a 4 didgit code near the VIN.....looks something like "Bo7A".....It will either start with a "A" or "B", have 2 numbers "07" or something starting with an "0", and end with an "A","B", or "C".
