So I have a 2007 access cab with the 2.7. I go to school in Wyoming and there is one hill that is near impossible for my truck to climb without dropping to 3rd at 5000 rpms to keep speed. Granted that the hill is also at an altitude of 7500' climbing to 8200. I am running 255/70/16. What would be the best gears to help regain some power and also help with a future upgrade to 33s and 6'' lift?

You'll probably need be looking at 4.88's then... There is a gear group buy feeler up, check it out and add your name to the list.

Thanks for the info. I was on the list but my money that I was going to use on gears is now being spent on a clutch since mine is on the outs soon
