Real nice! got any more pics, side-view etc?

Thinking about putting on some bigger tires. Did you stick with 16's for your wheels?

How did your debadge go? I've had mine since October and i'm a little worried about seeing a color difference from the sun. It is a 2010 so it hasn't gotten that much exposure yet. What do you think?

I did mine last fall... Just used a piece of thin nylon rope to cut the adhesive out from behind the badge and then used goof off and denatured alcohol to clean the leftover adhesive off, i then just waxed the area up good, and you can't tell they were ever there. Some people use a hair dryer or heat gun to soften up the adhesive tape to make it easier, I didn't but probably should have.

I really doubt that your truck's paint has sun bleached out already enough that you would ever notice. search on here, there's a lot of people who have posted guides on how to do it.

Do you experience any issues with removing your mud flaps? Definately looks good. I just debadged my door emblems today. Truck looks even better now.

Yea my debadging was simple actually. I just used some braided fishing line for the initial break and the adhesive just peeled right off by hand. I followed up with some car wash and mothers. It looks like the badges were never even there. I think it looks pretty sweet.

    One more question:

How do you like those Wrangler duratrac's? I'm looking for something a little bit more rugged for off roading, in particular sand. They're pretty mean looking and the tread looks great. Those will fit on my stock rims right?

Looks good without the door badges, now you just need to debadge the tailgate.

Mudflaps- I had to take mine off, they were getting the crap busted out of them in the snow we got this last winter. I love the look of the truck without them, haven't 2nd guessed myself since doing it. I found it a lot easier to get around in the snow without them. The only thing I've noticed is that the truck gets dirty faster now, but i don't mind that much.

DuraTracs- I love them, when i was looking to buy tires i was looking at either silentarmors, which i had had before on my old truck, and the duratracs. They were the same price so i went for the more aggressive looking tire. The only problem I've had was that the tire installation place screwed up when they installed them and they had screwy tire pressures for about the first 4 months... Now that that's fixed the traction is great, and so far I'm very satisfied. They're 265/75/r16's on the stock steel rims.

My turn for a question... Have you had any trouble with your cap shifting around on the back of your truck? My ARE has a tendency to slide back towards the tailgate over time... Particularly on road trips... I've torqued the bolts to the max that I think they can take, and I think that stopped it. The water-tightness isn't impressive either.

Thanks for the information. I never even knew that the SR5 that I have came with the TRD package. What are the main differences? That chromed out bumber definately looks good. My SR5 looks pretty rugged and durable, hoping I didn't screw up by not getting the TRD.

As for the cap, I have not yet had any shifting issues. I have only had it since April. LEER was a pain in the neck to deal with though, I must say. First they dinged my cap, which they did pay for but they also sent me the wrong front window. Once I took care of all that I have had no issues at all. I will keep you posted with any issues in the future that I may have.

Where are you noticing water leaking? Is it from the front corners? I noticed a leak coming from my front corners. I discovered that there were very small openings on the bed itself that was letting water in. It had nothing to do with the cap. Inspect the inside of your bed and look up in the corners very carefully, a sunny day helps because you can see a little bit of light creeping through. I used a small dab of black caulk and I have not had any leaks since.

Thanks man, I'm running 16x8 American racing ATX Chamber wheels wrapped in 285/75/16 BFG KM2's. It has the stock lift in the rear and a 3 inch coil spacer up front. 0 rubbing even in that pic were i was all flexed out!

My truck isn't TRD. I just made the dealer give me the stickers as payment for fucking up my financing. Be glad that you don't have the chrome bumper... the chrome on it is cheap and thin, mine started surface rusting within the first 6 months.

Yeah, my topper leaked in the front corners, i filled it in with silicone and seemed to fix it, haven't noticed any leaks since doing it about 4 months ago, but i have a bedrug in the back so it's not overly noticeable when it does leak.

well almost no rubbing, I had to cut a little off the inside of my fender flair in the rear at the top and pretty much all the way around the fender well in the front but now its perfect :)

Nice looking rig you have there.
Dumb question but you do have the rubber sealing tape between your cap and the bed rails or liner?

    Thanks,

CAPE Toppers installed it, they used sealing tape around the bed rails, and silicone where tape wouldn't work.
