Nice truck. I wanted to get mine in the Indigo Ink as well, but they discontinued that color for '09. Oh well, I'm happy with my Barcelona Red one though.

    You suck!

I'm so pissed that they discontinued the bucket seats for '09. That's the only thing that I'm disappointed in with my truck.

Is that Lake Michigan in the background?

I would have rather chosen bucket seats over the bench one. :(

Thanks, I love the Regular cab SR5. I think is it a rare truck.

I think the Regular Cab SR5 is probably the rarest of the Tacoma’s. Except for pictures I’ve only seen two on the road since the truck came out in 05.

I agree, I have only seen one 2008 model and one 2009 model. Not to the mention the 2009 model has a bench seat. Each of those had the steel wheels. I see you have the wheels off the trd edition, and I have the optional baja wheels. I really like my truck! The K&N air intake gave it a little more pep to go along with the magnaflow exhasust. The dealership where I worked had not sold a Regular cab SR5 until 2008, and I had to special order it. Most of the ones I have seen on the internet that are SR5s are Pre-Runners and not 4x4s. It seems to me the 4x4s are even more rare. It is just a special truck, I love the bucket seats. I average on most trips 22-24 mpgs, not bad.

I think that part of the problem with them being so rare is that they are only available in selected regions. I had to drive 3 hours to get mine because none of the local dealerships could get one, even if I special ordered it. It also seemed like the region that I got mine from could only get the Prerunners in the SR5 trim, not the 4x4's.

I could see Toyota doing that. The dealership where I used to work would do a "dealer trade," this is where our dealership would swap inventory with another dealership to fill a special request order if Toyota did not allocate us what we needed. We actually had to do this often, because Toyota did not send us the inventory we needed. We worked with dealershps in WV, VA, IN, and MD.
