Burning Smell

I have a strange burning smell coming from underneath my truck right behind the passenger side door area...smells like it's coming from exhaust area. It's a 2012 base 2wd...only 30,000 miles...any ideas?

 

Have you gotten underneath your truck for a visual inspection. I had a weird burning plastic smell, turns out there was a vons bag melting to the exhaust...

Chipmunks on the muffler?

 

I'd get under there and take a look if I were you... if you can't see anything, then you might take it to the shop.

 

Thanks for all the suggestions....turned out to be nothing significant...just some blood that was cooking on my exhaust from a deer I killed a week or so back.

I'll have to post pics...just mounted 235/75's on my stock 15s and they cleared with no problem.
