Is my Tacoma a 2.4 or 2.7???

Hello-

I have a 1999 regular cab tacoma and not sure if this is a 2.4 or 2.7. Try looking inside the hood, but got nothing.

just: F2Rz-N83

I believed it is a 2.7l from just surfing around the net. Then saw this one person postingit for sale a 2000 x-cab said it a 2.4l

????

 

How many lug nuts do you have?

If you have 5....then I'd bet its a 2.4L

The 6 luggers had the 2.7L

 

Ok so mine is a 2.4l for sure, it had 5 lugs and also

F2Rz-N83= 2.4l
F3Rz-N83= 2.7l

I had a 1999 and it was a 2.7 4x4.

 

another way to tell is under the hood on the emission sticker,
or if its a 4 wheel drive its 2.7

 

if it's 4wd, it can't be 2.4L?
my 1998 4wd base tacoma doesn't have anything written under the hood to indicate this and I'm curious.

5 lug nuts on the wheels indicates it's 2.4L?

 

Take your VIN and plug it into Google it should tell you what it is.
