What Size Tires do you guys run on your 4 cylinder

Right now i got the stock 245s but wanting to move up without rubbing! What do you guys have on your does it bog down your engine at all? Pictures plz

285/75/16's it's got less power on the highway but that's not saying much as you already know. Goes pretty much anywhere I dare, I'm happy.

 

Oh... 3in lift though. You won't squeeze much in without getting the front up. Factory rake on my truck was crazy

 

i think ill go 265's next round. i have the cheap rims tho and would hate to buy new ones. since i got rid the chevy diesel guzzler i've become a tight wad in all areas related to gas. lol

 

I got a 2.5 ready lift block in the front right now, im thinking either BFG KM2s 255/85/16 or in 265/75/16, Or maybe the bfg ATs in 265 or duratrax or general grabber. Theres just to many

 

I had stock, 265's, and now 285s. Good and bad to both, but I like my P rated 285s the best

I have 265/75r16 that I had ready to mount up. My 2.5 saw don't fit so I gotta wait to put on the tires cuz they won't fit without the front lift.

im running goodyear mtrs in a 40/13.50/17 on my 1984 4runner with a rebuilt 22r

 

i run 245 blizzaks in winter, and 265 duratracs in summer.

 

I really like the 255/85 km2s, i think it would make my truck look alot better. Whats your mpg like?

is it worth it the bog down? do you have any pics

 

My 265/75r16s fit without a lift.

I went with p-rated 265/75s. After reading all the "loss of power" replies before buying I expected a more noticeable loss of power than what I actually got. The first time I drove with them I couldn't tell any difference, but after a while I noticed it in certain situations. I did go with Load range C duratracs which are relatively light and put them on light wheels which I'm sure helped.

 

Yes sir, the only thing im worried about with the 85s is it being a lot taller tires, but just alittle bit widder, i think it would definitely look alot meaner and do better offroad wise, but i just dont want to bog down and not have any fun on the road. Im leaning more towards the bfg atm but also looking at duratrax 85s. but what would you recommend? 265/75/16 or 255/85/16

 

Between 265s and 255s IDK as far as felt power loss since one is heavier and one is taller I'd guess it'd probably cancel out much difference and they'd be close.
I did drive another TW members truck identical to mine, but with 285 MTs his truck has more power than mine with 265's His is more broken in and has an aftermarket air filter and header too though. I guess the point I'm trying to make is, it's probably not as much of a power loss as is advertised here. Hell, Singlecabguy's running 35s (315) and claims it's not that bad.
