    Truck is a 98 4x4 2.7 automatic
Engine came from an 01 2.7 automatic
    Both engines are 3rzfe

What do I need to make the conversion work? All wires still intact on the new engine with nothing cut, I have everything on the 01 engine . I need to know what parts I need for the swap to be successful? Any help appreciated, am I missing anything to do the swap?

i did the same thing on my 99 a few years back, the only difference is going to be your lower intake manifold. they are shaped differently, though you can still use your original upper manifold, it will bolt directly to the lower manifold on the 01 motor. transmission mounts, engine mounts, wiring, its all the same.

$1232 bucks for a motor with exactly 143,687 miles. It was a local auto salvage yard and it took me 5 months to find it :( my suggestion would be to search salvage yards on this website: Hollanderparts.com
