A larger exhaust will only reduce your low rpm torque which is the last thing you want to do if you tow.

The combination of an LCE long tube header...



...and a Flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow muffler installed with your stock exhaust pipe...




...will lower your torque peak by 750 rpms from 3,800 rpms down to 3,050 rpms. That's about the best you can do with simple bolt on parts. I also run a two inch thick intake manifold spacer...



...that lowers the torque peak another 250 rpms, but they're no longer made. Those three parts lowered my torque peak an even 1,000 rpms from 3,800 rpms down to 2,800 rpms. The engine pulls like a tractor.

Your stock intake is already a cold air intake so there is nothing to gain there.
