So coil spacers of about 2 inches are fine you just dont want a top plate spacer? And the preloading spring is fine? You just wont have anymore travel then stock.

should be fine, like I said the bilsteins work by adding preload to the spring also so no difference. I have the top plate spacers on mine and have been good for the most part but I have blown a strut twice now, but I do tend to have a pretty agressive driving style while off roading and can tell you the exact hits that blew the struts so I dunno if they would have held up any better without the spacers.

Does anyone have any good suggestions on off road tires for the 4bangers.... so they don't get weighed down to much but still have decent size aggressive tires

Boom! That will be nice. When I upgrade I want to go with a larger more aggressive tire, but have read on hear that the weight of the tire plays a big role with these 4 bangers. Let me know what you end up doing please

I put a set of treadwrights on mine, 5 31's for about 400 shipped. 2nd or third rig I've run them on. I haven't regeared yet, need to. The tires worked amazingly well in the snow and ice while elk hunting, crawled up things I really didn't expect to make even with momentum.

But how much does the re-gearing cost

They look good but how do retread tires work? Any complaint from anyone? Would they have as much structural integrity as a norm none retreaded tire?

The re-gear is pretty costly unless you can do the work yourself, which I can't.

Which tread wrights did you buy? And like I said are they just as strong as new tires?

So you can break the shock with a top plate spacer (full compression), nice. An extended bump stop would elevate this issue?

And a coil spacer will over extend the shock (full droop). A limit strap would elevate this issue? (prolly not really needed unless your jumping your rig )

I have a 2011 access cab. Im using 265/75/16 goodyear duratrac wranglers. They're an all season tire. Forget the weight of them, but they have a nice aggressive tread, with some teeth on the side wall too. Very happy with them. White writing out!!

Did you also replace the cats as well? I know they are expensive so would it even be worth it? Thanks!

That header looks good, albeit for a 2nd gen which should be included as there are many 1st gen guys looking to acquire gains.

I can only speak of the shorty header for the 1st gen... nothing gained whatsoever except lower under hood temps... I've posted this many times, at least that's my experience.

OP, stick with a FRAM for the stock air box, cheap, available everywhere and no MAF cleaning required.

    Hope this helps you.
