I have an 06 reg cab prerunner with 265/75/16 and the mud flaps have been removed. This is the way I bought it and I have had no problems just need to replace the tires soon. I was thinking the General Grabbers AT2 any suggestions?

5 lug regular cab base truck with jeep wheels ( I think 5.25bs) with 30x9.5x15. No lift, no rubbing. Power loss is noticable, but not all that bad.

after some research, its looking like a 265/75/16 or a 265/70/17

OP If you run 235/85-16 they are narrow (1/2" narrower than stock 245s) which means less drag than 265/75-16s and they are usually 6-10lbs lighter than 265s= less loss in power and mpg. 235s and 265s are same diameter too and most aggressive tires come in 235s and they are amazing in snow. I run 235/85-16 BFG Commercial Traction a/ts $135 bucks each on the Rack

If you have the right wheel specs, you can run 30x9.5R15 with the lift or rubbing. If you want to run 30x9.5 on stock wheels, you will need to do a little modification. LINK

I've benn wandering about that combination because the 265s were alot of drag. Been waiting to see if anyone has tried them. Want the extra height with out the extra drag. The mountains in Northern New Mexico really take their toll on a four banger.

i have 31x12.50xr15 super swampers with a 3 inch lift and i had to shave the plastic front bumper and part of my fender well on the back and still rub a little bit on turns. i definitely feel some power loss and some mpg loss but its worth it

I've got a 2.5 inch lift with 285/75/16 (33x11.13R16) and it only rubs a tad at full lock

I just put some 255/75/17 bfg mud terrains on my 4 banger. I don't notice any difference in power. 3" lift is coming very soon and i have been seeing to many 4 bangers with 33's and no regearing and im starting to get jelous so by this summer im going to have to get some 285/70/17's for sure.
