Bilsteins on front and rear, OME 885 coils, Wheeler's AAL with overload left in, LR UCA's, Stock TRD 17" wheels, 255/75-17 BFG KM tires, VIPMOTOZ headlights, Lifetime LED headlight bulbs, 6000K LED Fog bulbs, Jumper's Interior and license plate LED's, Husky Classic floor mats, OEM bed mat, Leer100R truck shell with carpeted platform, de-badged, white derped grill emblem.
Please take a look at my Wheeler's shopping cart. Is this everything I need to lift my new taco?

I wasn't sure if you need Billstein shocks for this setup or Billstein Coilovers....I'm pretty new at this. Also, do I have the correct AAL selected for the rear? I'm only trying to achieve around a 2" level lift and will be running 265 tires. Your help will be greatly appreciated!

    Anybody know a discount code?

I posted in the other thread as well, the OME springs come in a set so you only need 1.
    Everything looks good though!

I'm considering going with the Dakar leafs on the rear which I think with my bed cap will give me a litter over 2".

I'll go with 5100's on the front and rear but I'm trying to decide on 884's or 885's. I want the smoothest ride while maintaining an even, level lift that matches the back.

What should I do? I'm planning on running 265 tires and I dont do much real off-roading.

No way will 884s balance out Dakars. You'd need 885s and then I believe you're into new UCA territory.

My 884s don't even level out my General HD 4-packs, they just compensate for them and give it the factory stance, only higher. You could go with the General 4-packs or Wheeler's 5-packs if you don't want to go as high as the Dakars.

My 884s on 5100s ride stiffer than stock, but not harsh. I like it a lot. 2" lift dead-on.

I'd take the money you'll save from one set of springs and have Wheeler's assemble them. Unless you have access to a nice spring compressor, of course.

EDIT: Is that a PreRunner? If so, you'll probably get a bit more height than my 4x4 did with the 884s. I think you'd sit fairly level with a cap on General HD packs and 884s up front. Probably similar on the Wheeler's 5-packs too, though I'm not sure if they go higher or lower than the Generals.

No, its a 4x4 SR5 4 Banger. I think the dakars is more than I need and I dont want to get into UCAs and bushings, etc. Its important to me to have the front and back level. Also consider the weight of the bed shell. I just want an even lift front and rear at somewhere around 2".

do you regret not going with 885's instead of 884?

As of right now, I'm at 2" lift front and back so it's not level. Back is still a bit higher like it was from the factory, but I actually prefer that anyway. That combined with the potential alignment issues of going with anything higher stopped me from buying 885s.

On a 4-cyl with less weight up front and a cap on the back I'd bet you'd be almost perfectly level with the springs I have or the Wheeler's 5-packs combined with 884s.

I was leaning towards the Icon progressive AAL and 885's. Did you have to buy new bushings and U's and stuff with your leafs?

I used to have the icon progessive with my heavy ass canopy. Worked well but then I got a roof top tent so I sold that and got Dakars. If you haul medium to heavy loads go dakars, if not AAL is fine. If you go Dakars you need the Dakar springs, u bolts, bushings and extended rear break lines.. With the canopy dakars gave me just about 3 inches of lift

This is with only the AAL

    actuaallyyy......

I'm gonna go with the dakar rear leafs and take one out. And I'll go with the 885's. I better not have to add the LR UCA.

You shouldn't NEED to but you may want to in the future, depending on your alignment specs. Don't forget rear break lines, u bolts and bushings

Good choice and you won't need UCA's

Get an alignment when you have them installed and again in 3-4 weeks because they will settle. You will be high at first but don't FREAK OUT haha
If you have a Firestone near you they do lifetime alignments for $170. Worth it especially when you'll probably need 2-3 alignments in he first 3 months or so after everything settles.
